Everyone knows that Mosquitoes need standing water to breed. And lo and behold, by our little community in the Presidio, there's a holding basin for the storm sewer, a three foot deep pool of standing water. I hate mosquitoes, so Mike Warner and I embarked upon a public health/engineering project. Borrowing my roommate's water hose, I put the hose in the pool, held one end tight against my hand, then pulled it out downhill, creating a siphon that will drain the pool and remove the source of mosquitoes. Hazzah!

That's the basin, with the hose of deliverance sticking out.

How deep? Ew?

China doll!

Look at that glorious flow! Too bad you can't smell the water. It smells like ass.
